On the 3rd Saturday of each month, we shoot at Rick Conner's Range, located off  County Road 460 in Lyons, Texas. Sign up is at 8:00 AM, first shots at 8:30 AM. Event: 50 shot (100 yd.)  NRA Approved National Match Course. Service and Match Rifles allowed.  Match fee is $10.00 for members, $15.00 for non-members, and $5.00 for Junior Shooters. Scores are reported to NRA for classification. If it is raining or has been, shooters should call Rick Conner after 5:00 AM, the morning of the match.  Range flooding could cause match to be cancelled. The number is 979-596-2513. Main event: 50 shot (100 yd) National Match Course with Vintage Bolt Rifles. Match fee is $7.00 for members, $10.00 for non-members. Junior Shooters, no charge. Matches for M1 Garands, F-Class or Mini Palma  might also be fired.  The Vintage Bolt Rifle Match was conceived at this club as a cast bullet match, where members could compete with vintage military guns using cast bullets.  It later became accepted that many members do not cast bullets, and vintage rifles using jacketed bullets have become welcome to the matches. We wish to emphasize that anyone with a bolt action military rifle with iron sights that will hold 5 rounds of ammunition is welcome to compete in our Vintage Rifle Matches. Furthermore, persons who wish to shoot a modern weapon alongside the match are also welcome, subject to there being enough positions available. The standard $7.00 / $10.00 match fee will apply.
